CEE Basic Needs Project
What is the CEE Basic Needs Project?
The Basic Needs Project is a Central & Eastern European (CEE) Round Table initiative focused on funding high-impact international service projects that meet basic human needs — water, food, health, education, and housing. We want to encourage clubs in the whole region to contribute to international service inspired by Austria’s 90:10 model, where:
- 90% of charity work supports local projects.
- 10% supports global projects that create big change due to stronger purchasing power of their currency.
That small 10% can cover up to 90% of a project’s cost in developing regions — maximizing impact! So, let’s scale international service through the whole CEE region!
